Roasties:
We specialize in the manufacturing of par-baked, convenience braai breads with fillings, called Roasties.
How should it be done?
All of our Roasties have a 21 day shelf-life and must be kept refrigerated. Once the product is removed from the outer packaging, it can be place inside a pre-heated oven at 180deg C. and baked for about 10 minutes, until the filling has completely melted and the bread turns a golden brown or ideally it is placed over moderate heat coals/gas fire and slowly roasted until filling melts and the bread is golden brown on the outside.
Children should always be supervised when eating as choking is always a hazard. Some of our fillings contain chilli and or Jalapeno and should not be given to children without caution.
For those who enjoy the more “original” ingredients/ fillings of a home-made “braai-broodjie”, the Tomato, Cheese and Onion Roastie is sure to satisfy. NIZZA Foods uses Sundried Tomato for a truly unique taste together with real cheese to round it off, making it the perfect braai bread.
The NEW FANTASTIC 4’s Gourmet Roastie Range:
This very new and exciting range was born December 2017 and is the proud baby of the new management team at NIZZA Foods. This range consists of:

The NEW Braaibroodjie Range:
Our brand new Braaibroodjie range was born in June 2020. This range consists of:
- Tomato, Cheese, Onion, Chutney
- Garlic and Cheese
- Plain (no filling)
- Peanut butter and Syrup

Snack Bread
This unique product offers you a delicious cheesy bread dough with a garlic filling. The cheese inside the dough of the bread melts, enhancing the flavour and texture whilst the garlic filling in-between the slices of bread, oozes with great flavour! Can be placed on the braai for a few minutes to melt the filling or can be placed in a warm oven.
This lovely new product is a firm favorite amongst young and old. A “Tear and Share” concept that is ideal for families, campers, around bushveld fires and even during the cold winter months it can be warmed in the oven. Enjoyed with any of your favorite toppings or fillings. A must for every occasion!!!
6 soft rolls with a slightly sweet taste, filled with just the right amount of garlic and herbs. It can be placed on the braai with the tin foil tray or baked inside a warm oven until the filling has melted. Delicious!!! The unique way in which the Roasties are packed gives the product an excellent shelf-life of up to 3 weeks! (Refrigerated). Roasties can be frozen.
